#Blessed

    Have you ever worried about having enough or making ends meet? Our society teaches us how to provide for ourselves so that we won't be in that position. We encourage each other to get the jobs that pay well and we budget to the penny. I daresay we are obsessed with money and we live fearing the consequences of life without it.

    But the Bible tells us that we have more than enough through Jesus Christ. When we commit to Him, he blesses us and gives us all we need and abundantly more. Everything you could ever need was purchased when Jesus died on that cross. He bought things money can't buy. All we need to do is keep our eyes on Him and receive what He has already made available. Worship the giver and not the gift.

    Stop counting your pennies and start counting your blessings. Claim the blessings He promises you in the word. Trust that He has given you all you need and stop living in fear of not having enough. You are abundantly blessed!

2 Corinthians 9:8 And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that having all sufficiency in all things at all times, you may abound in every good work. (ESV)
Psalm 37:25-26 I have been young, and now am old, yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken or his children begging for bread. He is ever lending generously, and his children become a blessing. (ESV)
Philippians 4:19 And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. (ESV)

Hebrews 13:5 Keep your life free from love of money, and be content with what you have, for he has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.” (ESV)

Multiplication Without Division

    The church environment is made to be the body and the family of Christ. We are supposed to love each other and support each other through everything. Sadly, this is not the attitude of most churches in America today. Unfortunately, many people bring the world into the church instead of bringing the church into the world.      A lot of people use the church as a place where they can jockey for positions and get recognized for their talents. They use it as a place where they can judge and condemn others from the safety of their own elite clique. They look down condescendingly on those they see sinning, while sweeping their own sin under the rug.  They cause division. Humble Pie

    One of the most valuable characteristics in our walk with Christ is humility. When we have the ability to humble ourselves before Jesus and accept His leading, we go far. But problems arise when we force our own way. Humility is a characteristic that allows us to accept correction and truth and grow stronger because of it. Pride keeps us tied down and unable to grow up in Christ.     We have our brothers and sisters around us to keep pointing us to Jesus. That means helping us through areas not aligned with Him and combating those areas with the truth. But if we get angry and reject those people, we miss out on growing up for sake of being "right" and lose the people Jesus put in our lives for His sake. It doesn't matter if we are right but only that we follow what Jesus calls right and good.
